“Growing up, I was always an athletic kid. It wasn’t until after high school that I began to go through a cycle in my weight. I reached the heaviest I've ever been at the age of 21 hitting the 270 lb mark. I decided to make a change for the better life, a healthier one. I got involved in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and picked up running. After months and years of dedication, I was able to drop down to 195lbs.

As the years went on and quickly approaching my early 30s so did the weight. Now that I'm 32, I decided not to use my slowing metabolism an excuse to give up. I work twice as hard at it. I got back into running, hit the gym, and did any and all outdoor activities. I dropped 45lbs in the last 8 months, And now I'm finally back to feeling like I'm back in my early 20s..👊🏽😤

I am dedicated to my fitness but I’m also dedicated to my food. I could eat Rocky Road ice cream and In n Out hamburgers all day! And this is why I love the KFKF movement. Kinda Fit Kinda Fat is not just a brand but a lifestyle that allows you to be you! You don’t have to be perfect (cuz hell, no one is). You just have to be you. Don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for the victories you made and don’t forget to enjoy your life to the fullest. Run those laps, and eat that burger.

My name is Art and ice cream fuels my marathons and I am a KFKF Athlete.” - Art, Barber, KFKF Athlete
