"I fell in love with taekwondo ever since I started practicing it in elementary school. I have trained in taekwondo for about 15 years. Learning all the forms and coming up with different kick combinations during a sparring match was probably the greatest part about taekwondo for me. I also fell in love with running Spartan Races because it’s always fun seeing new obstacles and trying to complete them.

Taekwondo has taught me to be able to control yourself physically and mentally, which always plays into my everyday life when I'm dealing with something personal that comes up. It has especially helped when I run Spartan Races since I have to make sure I can make it to the end and complete the race.

Kinda Fit Kinda Fat’s message is being happy with who are today, but striving to be a better version of yourself tomorrow. How does the message relate to you?

KFKF’s message relates to me by giving me the confidence to get out of my comfort zone and start running Spartan Races. My goal is to always try to beat my previous time running the course or completing obstacles that I have previously failed.

I run spartan races and I'm a 5th degree black in taekwondo. I love to eat sweets after running my Spartan races and after a long training session for taekwondo and I am Kinda Fit Kinda Fat." - Nicholas
