"A couple years back after college and being encouraged by members of my local gym, I dipped my foot into the pool of powerlifting. I immediately was enamored by the amount of positivity and willingness to help that the community provided. In a time where I was navigating a lot of transitions in my life, navigating career moves, finding a partner, and figuring out what being an adult was like, powerlifting became a constant. 

I’ve always been big, probably always will be, and because of sports I have learned to love and accept my body for what it can do. Learning to embrace being a big boy and having confidence in myself not only on the field but in the workplace has allowed me to excel and find success. 

The message of acceptance that Kinda Fit  Kinda Fat is centered around connected with me right away. Learning to love yourself and embrace where you are is important. What Kinda Fit Kinda Fat embodies as a brand is one of the many things I’ve come to love about the strength community. The KFKF community supports itself, embraces new members, and can hold you accountable in a positive way. I love that I can stand behind a brand that stands behind me. Thank you guys for making awesome stuff that fits fat boys too!
